1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
To browse our platform you must create an account. Creating an account does not cost money, but you must create an account even if you only want to view free content. When you create an account, you are asked to provide your full name, a nickname, an email address, and a password. You are also required to check a box confirming that you have read and agree to our Terms of Service. When you subscribe as a member or purchase video content, you will additionally be asked for information necessary to complete that financial transaction. That information is provided directly through the payment provider (either PayPal or Stripe) that you choose during the "checkout" process. We do not receive or store that information at any time. You can find out more about how these payment processing vendors handle information you provide during purchase, including their statement of GDPR compliance, on their respective company privacy pages.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to create an account, you imply that you consent to our collecting that information and using it for activities related to your account and interaction with our service. By providing your email address for a transaction, you also imply that you consent to our sending you transaction-related emails such as sales receipts, and periodic updates about new videos and events or other changes to the website.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If you no longer wish to receive periodic update emails, or you would like to withdraw your consent for us to use your personal information for any reason whatsoever, you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org using the email subject line "Privacy Consent". It is impossible to "opt out" of certain transaction-related and security-related emails, such as payment receipts, notifications of the failure of a transaction, or notifications of changes to your password.
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
We use Uscreen to host video content and our platform's user interface. They also provide access to the broadcasting network infrastructure that gives us the capability to livestream events all over the world. UScreen is located in Washington DC. You can find out more about them on their website uscreen.tv.
5. Third-Party Services
The platform vendors mentioned above may engage in partnerships with other third-party vendors to manage things like payment, authentication or security. We recommend that you read the terms of service and privacy statements on the websites for each of these vendors so that you can understand the manner in which your information will be handled by those providers. Certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
Web Analysis Tools
We may use web analysis tools that are built into the UScreen video platform to measure and collect anonymous video viewing information. This information is needed to help us determine how to compensate our content creators for the popularity of their content.
7. Age of Consent
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
